Most people intending to organise weddings always double-check the people they hire to deal with photography, video and even the music. Well, the poor newly weds who hired the bozo in this video deserve some sympathy. Not only can’t the guy do a proper DJ job, he’s also a little on the odd side – just a little.

i-Fairy Robot Performs Marriage Ceremony in Japan

Here’s a first and quite possibly only happen in a high-tech country like Japan. It just so happened that this couple (Satoko Inoue & Tomohiro Shibata) decided to choose a rather mechanical looking priest for their unique ceremony. The i-Fairy is actually a museum guide but the program had been adapted for weddings. The bride just happened to be an employee of Kokorro Ltd, the company that makes these marvellous robots so getting hold of one of them wasn’t a problem!
Apparently the ceremony went without a hitch so maybe robots are the way to go for marriage ceremonies of the future!:)

Man Marries Video Game Character!

We’ve all heard of people marrying all sorts but a Japanese man known only as sal9000 went and married someone who doesn’t even exist in the real world! The lucky “lady” was Nene Anegasaki, who’s permanent address is a microchip inside a Nintendo DS game, Love Plus.
This bizarre union was live cast on Nico Nico Douga and all seems a little fun if a little strange (just a little bit, mind).

2. The Graduate – Flashes of comedy, havoc and drama in the finale of this 70’s classic film
1. Four Weddings and a Funeral. Another Richard Curtis production and probably the most memorable. Full of wedding scenes and this one stars the one and only Mr Bean fluffing his lines as the vicar.
Bubbling under is the wedding scene in The Godfather which unfortunately I can not find a clip of but it is fantastic!
